Rubber machinery is machinery used to manufacture various rubber products such as tires, including general rubber machinery, tire machinery, and other rubber product machinery. The rubber machinery industry is a manufacturing industry that has been established and developed simultaneously with the rubber processing industry.

 General rubber machinery is machinery used to prepare rubber compounds or semi-finished products, including raw material processing machinery, rubber mixing machines, extruders, calenders, cord fabric pretreatment devices, and cutting machines.

Rubber mixing machines are divided into open and closed types. Open rubber mixing machines are mainly used for rubber heating, sheet pressing, rubber breaking, plasticizing, and mixing. Open rubber mixing machines have been used in production since 1826 and are still widely used in modern times due to their relatively simple structure. Closed rubber mixing machines are mainly used for rubber plasticizing and mixing and have one additional closed mixing chamber compared to open rubber mixing machines. Since the invention of the oval rotor closed rubber mixing machine in 1915, closed rubber mixing machines have developed rapidly in the rubber industry, and later other types of rotor closed rubber mixing machines have appeared. The rubber mixing cycle of modern closed rubber mixing machines is 2.5 to 3 minutes, and the maximum capacity of the closed mixing chamber can reach 650 liters.
